Dr. Thomas Carr and Dr. JoAnne Carr both graduated with honors in 1983 from Loyola University School of Dentistry. They have been in practice in the Bay Area since that time. They are members of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
Dr. JoAnne spent the year after her graduation in a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Francisco. Dr. JoAnne enjoys seeing patients and helping them keep their mouths healthy. She stays current in dentistry through continuing education courses.
She enjoys music and piano. Her love for music has taken her into local schools as a docent.
The doctors and their daughter like to camp, ski and travel together.
In 1994 Dr. Thomas completed an 18 month post-graduate study in advanced occlusion at the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education. He and Dr. JoAnne are committed to providing the highest quality care. The Silicon Valley Study Group has provided him knowledge in implant dentistry from many experts in the field. He is presently a participant in the Restorative & Adhesive Study Group at UCSF, an extensive program that meets monthly to learn about new materials and techniques of cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys the beauty of God’s creation while backpacking, hiking, and doing photography.

They follow universal precautions against infection for your protection and keep well versed in current dental procedures through continuing education courses.
