Update about last week's post on brushing!

A note regarding last week’s discussion of combining leg exercises with brushing: it works best with an electric toothbrush that has a timer.  The power brush pauses every 30 seconds so that you know when it’s time to change where you’re brushing and what leg to stand on.  The timer keeps you on task and forces you to be honest about how long you actually spend brushing your teeth.   

I’ll just say it:  power toothbrushes, when used correctly, are superior to manual toothbrushes at keeping your teeth clean  (with or without the leg exercises!).  If you haven’t yet tried one, consider making the investment in a Sonicare or Oral B Braun brush.  The timer is just one of many reasons they are so effective.
